Which led to a five day stay in the hospital. She had appendicitis, and go figure, by the time we got to surgery (FROM THE INITIAL LATE NIGHT VISIT) her appendix had ruptured. I take her back in and she receives ibuprofen again for a fever in triage, but this time the doctor we saw IMMEDIATELY ordered an ultrasound and blood work, as well as for her to be put on an IV to receive fluids. We called in to our pediatrician and they said to take her back in because she needed to be looked at, especially her belly (AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN SEE HER IN PERSON). Fast forward to about 9-10AM, my daughter will not leave the couch, shes extremely lethargic and she is inconsolable. My daughter was able to hold down three SIPS of Gatorade, and yes, I was even that specific with the PA, we were sent home with a prescription for zofran and told it was probably 'just a bug'. After explaining her other symptoms and my daughter not wanting to leave my lap she was so out of it, the PA checked her ears, nose, and throat, THAT IS IT. By the time we got back to the room, her breathing had calmed and the PA told me it was more than likely just congestion from throwing up. In triage they gave her ibuprofen for the fever and zofran for the vomiting. She had also been running a fever and was very lethargic/tired. She had not been able to keep anything down for over 12 hours, INCLUDING water. After vomiting around 12:30 AM she began to breathe labored and heavy. I took my 2 year old daughter in at approximately 1:07 AM on August 11, 2020. Next time you call with an emergency issue, it seem that you have daily in that poorly run exuse of a hospital don't be shocked if 9 hours later we may or may not show up. None of which were seen maybe 5 other kids and 3 nurses.

I expects a full bustling staff and room packed with with sick kids. But why is it when I bring in a screaming sick child at 3am who clearly needs care we are asked to wait for 2 hours before being moved to a different waiting area with 2 other family's who have also been there, we wait another 4 hours before being seen being seen and there are almost no rooms in use in pediatric. I have been in at all times day and night for any related scare your nurse have. I have seen an entire floor shut down for covid and 2 patients on the floor.

Now I've seen how slacking and empty the hospital has been since the start and during covid. I work for a company that contracts with your hospital and it states that we must be on site within two hours for any related issue you guys may have.
